Hey there! My name is Avianna but most people know me by Avi. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I grew up around culture, family, and community. My dream job is to work with the Dallas Cowboys! I enjoy all things sports, music, travel, and books. You can always catch me at the river or enjoying my comfy bed.
Why Texas State? I went throughout my highscool years not wanting to go to college. Nothing really sparked my interest about going execpt one thing, the college experience. Last minute, I applied to Texas State and got in. Going into my freshman year, I wanted to study something media related. I knew I wanted to get into a field that felt like a community. That's when I was introduced to sports media and I fell in love with it.
Now, I am currently a First-Generation Juinor at TXST majoring in Digital Media Innovation with a minor in Sports Media. I am proud that I trusted my intution and applied. I not only gained vaulable friendships but I found myself. While being at Texas State, I started doing photography, networked, and got a job with the creative team at Ingram School of Egineering. With all these complishments, I am excited to see how the rest of my college years go.
